This place is ADORABLE! It makes me think of the local pharmacy that is shown in older movies and tv shows. Men dressed in vests and bow ties serve you ice cream creations made at the counter. The decor is old train memorabilia. The booths are on the smaller side...or maybe I am just on the bigger side. LOL. This place is a must stop if you are in the East Troy-Lake Geneva-Whitewater-Elkhorn area!

Finding ice cream in Wisconsin is about as rare as finding a Bears fan at Lambeau. Sometimes you just get tired of custard. We had heard of this place but had never been there. It was like stepping back in time. The ice cream was great (wish that they had just a bit larger selection of variety). The service was so personal. The owner really, really cares about his customers. Something very unusual today. And the prices were very reasonable. Plus, the place doesn't close down at 9 pm like so many others, like those boring custard places that are everywhere. We'll be back and just wish that we'd discovered it sooner!!

We have been coming here since I was little, just a fun place to come and eat old fashioned ice cream. Lots of fun things to look at while you wait, they make your order almost right in front of you. Is practically a 1920's drug store, they even sell candy at the register (for those of you who's sweet tooth was not already filled with your ice cream) Well worth the drive from anywhere!

The coolest place in East Troy. I know, the list of competition is short, but someone has to be on top. The inside decor is of a 1920's drugstore. There are some really tasty ice cream ideas on the menu, and they use fresh ingredients. They use malt powder on some of the confections, and it is, how you say, good! The service is USUALLY pretty good, but the old man that is in charge brings his wrong-side-of-the-bed days to work sometimes. The prices are actually pretty reasonable for the quality put into the dishes. There are also several racks of old candy there for the buying and browsing. It's really a must stop if you are in the area. Bring your friends!
